Yes. Beef tallow is one of the most biocompatible moisturizers available for the face. It's non-comedogenic for most skin types, deeply hydrating without feeling greasy, and rich in the exact nutrients your skin needs to repair and regenerate. Customers with dry, sensitive, mature, or irritated skin tend to see the most dramatic results.

Conventional lotions are typically 70–80% water, held together with synthetic emulsifiers, preservatives, and fragrances. Tallow is the opposite — it's a true skin food. It moisturizes from the inside out instead of evaporating off the surface, and it doesn't contain ingredients your skin has to fight off. Most of our customers stop using lotion entirely after switching.

Tallow is one of the gentlest moisturizers you can use. Our Unscented Whipped Tallow Moisturizer is just tallow and jojoba oil — no essential oils — and is suitable for sensitive skin, eczema-prone skin, and even babies. As with any new skincare product, we recommend a small patch test first.

Absolutely. Most customers use it morning and night. Because tallow mirrors your skin's natural oils, it won't disrupt your barrier the way many active skincare ingredients can. A pea-sized amount is plenty.

Pure, properly rendered grass-fed tallow is non-comedogenic for most people. It's chemically very similar to your skin's own sebum, so it tends to balance — not block — your pores. If you're acne-prone, start with a small area and build up.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Tallow naturally softens in heat and firms up when cool — both states are normal and don't affect quality.
